cheers for that tetraman was looking for an external one but are these new on the market not seen them before but i have only been looking for ext 1s

Hello,

After asking people on this site and other LFS, the eheim filters seem to come out tops..

See the latter part of This thread

I went for Eheim 2026 Professional II - with media for £99.95.. for my 47 gallon tank... which was quite a good bargain.. you can order online or via the phone..

Only set it up last night, so cant comment on it much yet.. apart from the tank looked a bit clearer already this morning ;-)

Cheers
Squid

thanks squid just been looking at that model just waiting to see what happens

I would say Eheim, only because thats what I have and find it spot on :)

Agree with Soggy and Squid - Eheim every time.

V reliable, run forever, silent and easy to maintain. Get the biggest you can afford though - your bound to buy a bigger tank - we all do!
