Hi all,im getting a new tank,so, i dont know which to choose!! Its between.
A 450+ oddball tank with hujeta gars, black ghost knifes, fire eels, peacock eels, a bichir so on!
A240+ lake malawi tank mbunas, OB's, electric yellow so on.

My 1st intention was to get the oddball but then i was a really cool malawi tank at my chinese and then wanted to get one of those theres no way im getting both

My fav fish r oddballs but i want to breed some fry in the malawi tank & make money but at the same time i soooooo love oddballs

help plz

im going to make your decision harder, why not go reef?
Ohhh crap!! That one caught me out fight der ive fallen in love with reef!!!!!! Now i dont know any advice on reef i like flame angelfish, royal gramma, black percula clown, common clown (nemo!!)copperband butterflyfish, scarlet hawk, naso tank, pacific blue tang(Dory)porcupine puffer, reidi puffer feel free to manipulate the list since i just looked at pics and the name!
and what tank size (reef)

any size you want, although if you want clown fish your best of sticking to smaller species of fish, a 100 gallon with a 30 gallon sump would be a good investment,

if it was my choice i would go for the cichlid set up although i hate to burst your bubble but you won't make much money by breeding them and in addition to the main tank you would need a grow out tank as most lfs' won't take cichlid fry less than 1 inch in length. The only way to make decent money in fish breeding is to do it on a large scale.

what type of tank for a reef and this is the list .
X2flame angelfish, X3royal gramma,X4 black percula clown, X6common clown (nemo!!)X1copperband butterflyfish, X2scarlet hawk, X1naso tang, X1pacific blue tang(Dory)X1porcupine puffer, X1reidi seahorse.

because of the large number of clowns thats why i want to breed them, when i know how, are they as easy to breed as freshwater fish i could also get a secondary tank for operations such as pair forming and breeding!!

cool :D

you should keep one pair of clowns per tank

1 royal gramma per tank in context

butterfly fish are very finickle eaters and are hard to get eating.

seahorses should be kept in species tanks.

if it were me i would go:

2 common clowns
1 royal gramma
flame angel
not sure on the tang because of its massive size, it may eat other fish, the regal tang can get to 1 foot long, a 5 footer minimum.
