Which Should I Go For?

I am trying to debate on my next stock for my Mbuna tank, and there are soooo many pretty ones. So based on my stocking in my signature (see 55g) which is the best contender as a tankmate, as well as best bang for my buck?

And I do like ALL of these fish, I just have to decide on one, and I can't!!!

Saulosi i think, both beautiful males and females and will work well in your 55g

Those are the ones I am leaning at. Good deal for 7, although those white top haras are sooo pretty.

Maybe eventually, but I do not want to add too many at once. Don't want to overload the filter. But if i bid on both of these, and won both, there would be 18 fish in my 55g! isnt that too much?

What you using filtration again? as long as your filtration is good then 18 fish is fine plus the saulosi are dwarf mbuna

right now I have a marineland 400 emporer which is adequate up to 90g. I could always pop another one on though.

Probably a second would be a good idea not just for extra filtration but as a back up to.

Yeah. I always have more filtration than needed. My 75g has enough filtration for about 150g. I prefer to have double as it keeps my water looking really nice.

Yeah that's the best thing to do, especially with Malawi can never have enough filtration.

messy little guys aren't they? Although since aquiring a pair of oscars, I have found that there are worse fish

Yeah but like you say Oscars geesss these guys are messy i have 4 now (still waiting to pass them on) they just spit food everywhere/stir the sand up move the wood about, generally just making a mess lol

Oscars are a trip though. Great fish. Wish I had a tank large enough for this pair. Oh well. I am going to cure them of HITH and rehome them.
