I have got a new juwel rekord 120 tank and I want a plec to go in it. I want one that won't grow too big for the tank, that eats algae and looks good (I don't want a bristlenose, they're Ugly). I was thinking about a King Tiger Plec, but I think that they are hard to get hold of and expensive. So which plec should I get? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Dont let my bristlenose hear you call them ugly  They're beautiful!

What do you class as expensive? Many of the little fancy plecs are along the same price as the KT.

With the exception of the clown plec, bulldog plec and bristlenose. They're all very cheap ;) I dont know if I'd recommend a clown plec for such a small tank though as they need bogwood as part of their diet and therefore poo some sawdust. What's the dimensions?

The Dimensions are 101 x 46 x 31cm. Would a king Tiger Plec be OK in this tank? I really like the look of them and wouldn't mind shelling out £30-40 on one if I could find one.

I should imagine a King Tiger plec would be fine in that tank as long as you have plenty of hiding places. As far as I know they only grow to abou 5" so it shouldn't be a problem.
I have to disagree about Bristlenose plecs though, I've got three of them and they are all lovely.

I think the real problem you might face is finding a small fancy plec that will do the job you want it to. You say you want it to eat algae, unfortunately the King Tiger is not known for that. Really the ancistrus species are better for algae eating, but you don't like them (which is a shame because there are some really pretty bristlenose species out there). The other thing worth noting is that no plec will live off algae alone - all plecs need a proper diet, which diet depends on the species.
