Which Plec Could I Have?

Queen Arabesque's and king tigers are interesting, but I've never been a witness to seeing them eat anything like algea....

and clowns and flash plecos are interesting too.
 
I wouldn't (personally) go for anything that grows to 10" in a 4ft - we had De Niro our old gibby in one til he was about 7" and he came out because he was so cramped and keeping up with the water quality was hard in such a small amount of water with such a large poo machine. No offence intended smithrc :blush:


It depends on tank dimensions really... water quality wzas never a problem with our common (at about 10") although open swimming space was needed for when he decided to come out for a glide :)
Our 42gal was 1200 long and 400 wide... a lot of the tanks are taller but narrower so I would agree - size does matter :D
