Hi. At the moment I use Test Strips for PH, GK, KH, NO2 and NO3, with a separate liquid test for amonia.

I'm looking to purchase a good Master Test Kit which will do everything I need without have to get separate kits. Is such a thing available, and where would be the best online shop (v expensive at my lfs!)?

Cheers!

First you have Hagan (scroll to btm)
http://www.aquatics-online.co.uk/listsecti...tp=122&rets=246

Then there's TetraTest Laborette,
again scroll down to btm for priceing.

The test strips are a not very accurate in my opinion. best using a proper kit.
For pH testing I would always recommend electronic equipment for quickness.
Small hand held varieties can be bought for a minimal outlay these days.

ouch - that hagen test kit is a pretty penny....The API one seems to work fine for me (18months and counting) and is £18 or so in petAtHome (or was last time I checked)

aj xx

Thanks for the advice guys. Have ordered the API kit because it seems to do all I want at a decent price.

Cheers

In my opinion Hagen / Tetra is way over priced
