Which Kind Of Water Testing Medium Do You Use?

API once\twice weekly, but also use strips daily more as an early warning that would prompt another API check. I dont have a hardness tester which is something i'm looking for, can anyone recommend one?

Do you mean a hardness tester strip or a hardness liquid kit?  If you mean strip, Tetra EasyStrips have 6 tests which include hardness.

I have the hardness results from the tetra strips but i dont like to rely on the strips really so i was looking for a more accurate liquid kit.  I know i have hard water in my region but want to be 100% sure before i even think about making alterations.

Unfortunately I don't know of a good liquid hardness test kit.  Wish I did...

I myself use Tetra EasyStrips once a week and API once a month.  However, if the Tetra strips reveal concerning information, I do a quick API test for more accuracy.
