cichlids have long been my faveorites as well but im getting to be a fan of allot of others now like dwarf puffers even tho i havent owned any yet and also i have liked loaches and catfish for quite a long time. i didnt see sharks there but i like them too. i dont much like tetras or mollies or sword tailes but i have no idea why.

Nothing but cichlids!!!!! AAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH,Jamnog i can help you,go out and get yourself the biggest red tail or tiger shovel nose catfish you can find and it will soon take care of your cichlid problem


Only joking i quite like some of the pike cichlid family and i even own a few satanoperca jurapari and a tilapia buttikoferi,the malawi eyebiter is a good looking fish too,was planning on trying breed them until the landlord put the mockers on building a fish house in the garden.

Non of the afore mentioned could handel cupcake (see gallery) some one decided a 10 inch red snakehead would live ok with him...... not for long

A full grown redtail or TSN would just inhale any fish up to about 18" and swallow them without chewing,there again in the wild these fish have been blamed for the disapearence of small children in the past .

From what ive read up on the buttikoferi i have (bought by accident i must admit) they are just about one of the meanest cichlids alive,even beat on red devils if what some people say is true.My one is quite peaceful at the moment and just gets a bit aggro with my black shark every now and again but he is still a baby so im keeping a close eye on him.

My fav fish are the pair of keyholes i've got. I love these fish to bits.
