Great sound nice.

i went theyd all gone :-( awww well!they had balck moores but that was it,then i saw two comets(or at least i think theyre comets)...they looked pretty bad shape and i couldnt help myself.then i had a brainwave!! i remembered about the old 44gal i had in the shed :D i grabbed some gravel, the two fishies, some meilfix and gravel then some silk plants  ran home and grabbed the 40gal and set it up wahsed the gravel and filled th tank up!i found some leftover slate and stuck that in!now the two are swimming around happily and look much better but theyr resting on the bottom alot,is this normal and one of them has black bits on it(aront the egdes of the tail and fins)is this normal? :sly: i hope they will be ok ive got attatched now! called them tweedledum and tweedledee
tweedledum is gold with white bits around his face and tail(and the black)
and tweedledee is pure gold but had afew scales missing.,please help!

ok so is back normal around the fins i thought it might be some sort of fungus or rot?

Black edges to fins are not normal but the melafix might clear it up, if no changes in a couple of days you will need to medicate with a finrot med, good luck.

if the fish already had the black around the fins when you bought it then it could be the last of its baby colouring going. it could also be healing marks left by high ammonia so the best you can do for that is keep the water really clean.
maybe they are sitting on the bottom more because the water is straight from the tap and could be a bit cold for them. fantail types like water to be warm rather than cold.
missing scales could be due to catching on ornaments or another fish getting a bit bossy. keep an eye on it and see that it doesnt lose any more or it could become a problem.
congrats for rescuing them though.
