i picked oranda. they are one of the hardiest you can get and theres many types as well.

ill go with angel on this one as a comet in a 20g is a no no they get to a canny size
i like lionheads but find them almost as much trouble as black moors

WOW i saw a prety panda oranda in a pet shop!its a crappy little one where i ran in to grabsome dogfood and he was there he had blue and paurpley bits on him and he was quite big BUT i didnt buy him,he wasnt for sale the tank he was in was scruffy and full of dead ones and i saw some baby ghost carp!they were tiny and so cute...i was tempted too but remembered how big they get!ive decided to wait and get a healhy one from my LFS

Try and buy him and tell him if he dosn't clean the tank up and remove the dead fish that you will report him .

i asked but the tank was FULL of dead ones and i didnt want to risk gettin him for him to die,he isnt 4 sale at the mo anyway because the tank had a sticker on it saying tank under treatment and i asked and it will be for afew weeks yet,in afew weeks i might just pop back..........

I don't no about being rare but he sounds lovely.

i went back to the shop!he was gone but they had about 11-15other ones in of all colours!!!the pet shop wont reserv them but he said he will ,ake sure theres afew left if i get there 2morro morning one and im getting it tomorrow!i dont know wether to get the marbled prandas or the gold+white fantails which are hardier

out of all the goldfish suitable for tanks i think the panda oranda is the only 1 i like.

we'ved had a couple of bigs ones in at work for ages, at 8.95 for a 4 inch fish it's a steal!!

What do the marbled panda's look like they sound nice.

theyre just orandas but they are white,black,blue and purpley mixed up in dots or splodges and some have a mask around the eyes,or at least thats wot is lab;led as them in my LPS!!!theyre about £7 for small(3inc)ones so u got a bargin!theyre still oranda shaped but ill get a pic wen i get mine and post it!
