Which Filter?

before i start i have to point out that ive just started a new cycle, its a new clean tank and im intent on a fishless cycle, currently using a very loud interpet pf1 to filter it,

so which one fo this two filters is better, the

Eheim Aquaball 2212 Filter

or the

Fluval plus 2

ive heard the fluval as i have one but mines broken and just seems to make the water green, so which would make less noise? i sleep near my tank so i need it to be as quiet as possible! thanks guys!

I used to have a 2+, totally silent from what I remember.

Hi. i use a fluval + 2 in one tank and a + 3 in another and the only time i have found them a bit noisy is when i use the venturi. dont know if this is the same for everone but i had to stop using the venturi. keeps my tanks water crystal clear.
