Hi ive just started a 10g community tank and eventally i want to get 3 corys but im torn between high fin peppered corys or panda corys. I wont be getting them for a few months untill my tank has matured i have some microrasboras at the moment (5) and may get a pair of sparkling gouramis so i have made room for them stocking wise. My subtrate is a fine gravel
Many thanks

True, but pandas are often smaller IME, so if you are experienced and you want the wait, then Pandas are a viable option.

The Panda gets a bad rap as being "extra-sensitive" or delicate. I have kept Pandas at different times and find them as hardy and trouble-free as most any other Cory. I think the genisis for this belief is that many Pandas are farm raised in Asia and are still imported in large numbers for the commercial trade. Because of this, they are prone to the same poor raising, holding and shipping stresses as most others fish you will find at your lfs. That makes finding a healthy, hardy Panda to begin with, the hard part. Suggest you try some Pandas from someone breeding them, as an alternative source. - Frank

thanks ive been reading up alittle and i think a peppered cory may be too big for my tank so it looks like its gonna be panda corys.I was looking at pygmy corys but they dont do much for me. Is there any other breeds of corys which are quite small
many thanks
