Where To Take Big Fish Near Me?

Morning all ,

I've noticed a 4*2*2 tank going near me for £100 with filter etc and might try getting my gf to consider it. However the person who has it has a breeding pair of oscar;s a paroon shark and common pleco. Now i dont mind oscar's and the pleco but obviously the paroon shark would have to go ... I live in Barrow-in-furness in cumbria and theres no public aquairums near me afaik anyone got any ideas what i could do with it if i get the tank ?

river nah try putting it in the classifed section or on ebay or somewhere like that

I'm in Grange and have a 3ft x 15in x 12in tank with a small leak (should be fixable) and a metal stand, you can have them for free. Tank is a good quality one, but you will need to paint the stand and add a piece of MDF (that's the mistake I made and why the tank is leaking). I also have a 5-6in Plec and Oscar in a 4ft tank which I need to re-home, but I want £150 for that set-up.

Isn't there a public aquarium on the south point of Lake Windermere?

Not sure if there is , i never tend to go up that way , will google now for it


Edit: Just googled them and there is good call. Will give them a shout when if i get the tank ( got the space clear and the plans for the stand to be made just need the mrs's approval)
