Hi all I want to buy some more tanks, preferably 20 gallons and up. I looked on craigslist and theres not much. Where else would you suggest?

Facebook marketplace. I don't know what are other good sites in the US.

You could also wait for the dollar-per-gallon at Petco.

I bought tanks for my rack from my LFS. They had a contact for someone who made smaller size tanks, and my six 24" tanks cost me just over £100.

I picked up my two 30 gallon tall tanks and stand at a rummage (garage, yard) sale. My wife likes to go to them and we have seen many tanks for sale mostly 10 gallon tanks but up to 250 gallon wide with stand which my wife said "no way" to me. :/

Poor @Retired Viking cant get the tanks he wants because the wife is picky, you know what they say, "happy wife, happy life!"

Yup. but I have her up to 4 tanks already  that's 3 new tanks in a year! If I can find the space in the basement I can have several more. With all 4 of our kids stuff down there that may be awhile.:(

Craigslist, let go, and Facebook marketplace. Just keep looking.
The dollar per gallon sale is decent, but by the time you get a lid, light, filter and heater things get expensive.
Many times you get a full setup or extras from Craigslist

I just got 3 tank setups from Offerup. Real good prices.

I see you are from Western Washington, so am I. Offerup has a much bigger listing than
Craigs List.

Is it rimless? A rimless tank will usually cost more compared to a standard aquarium.
Yes it is, but still crazy expensive compared to petco. (we dont even have petco here)

Update: on craigslist I found a large tank (unknown gallons, 6 feet long) and equipment for free. Just gotta convince the parents (my birthdays in a few days so that should help) my mum likes the tanks all over the house but my dad doesn't hopefully she'll help me out here

More recent update: the tank was taken by someone else. Keeping on looking :)
