Where to find fish clubs/shows

Just hit my one year mark at aquarium keeping. I’ve learned some, but obviously that’s just a drop in an ocean of information that there is.
Along the way I’ve gotten my father back into aquariums. He now has a 65 gallon full of cichlids. We’ve been trying to find some type of fish club , shows, or something along those lines to learn more. We both eat breath and sleep fish now , so we want to find people with the same energy.

I got the fever too. It’s been two years since I cycled my first tank. I found several clubs by googling for fish clubs in my area. There were several all with FB presence.

I'm working with a few other local characters to start a club, since we had none in this eastern Canadian region. A lot of clubs have gone under as the hobby as lost popularity, so it can take some looking.

There is a Salt Lake City club, but to me when it comes to Utah, I have no clue where that fits with your location.

Look for a Facebook aquarium group if you are on Facebook. Also ask at any local fish store and/or aquarium.
