Where To Buy An Ebjd

Well after been hunting for around 2weeks for one i've still had no luck ! My local LFS is very small and it's not on her list of fish she can order in , My next closest have said it would cost £60 just for shipping! direct from thailand and lone fish in one box . And my favourite lfs said it could take up to 3 weeks to order in . With all my other fish going over next 2 days i really don't want to be sittin lookin at a tank with one lone sev in it for next 3 weeks ! .

Does anyone know any good sites where i could perhap's order online from ?

There's only one other shop about and hour n half drive from me that could possibly sell it but seems like a trek for 1 fish that they might have . Anyone offer any suggestions ? I'm in west lothian scotland

Well worth tracking one down if you can. 30 mins for a shop! I drive for over an hour some weekends just to get to my usual haunts, well worth it for one fish. Have you not concidered fining shops in the pages in areas say 40 mile radius from you and actually phoning them. Saves all the hassle.

for the sake of tracking down a reputably good strain of EBJD its worth sitting and watching a tank with a lone sev in - believe me! There are some butt-ugly EB Jacks out there from appalling breeding, just as many as there are fantastic strains from good breeding. Don't pay over the odds for the appalling strains, if possible see the parents. I understand with shops this can often be practically impossible, but its worth it in the long run! My EBJD which you can see as a juvi 1.5" in my avatar and as an 8" adult in my journal cost me £25 in October 2008. I've seen some hideous Electric Blue Jacks for often over £30

Well the sev is no longer alone as you can tell by my sig ! lol The shop i was on about is an 1 hour 30 mins away just to get there so 3 hour trip all in all and since i don't drive myself tryin to get a family member who has no interest at all in fish to take me to what i term as an "Aladdin's Cave" is pretty hard going !Even harder when i don't know if that shop will have them in ! lol

I would love to be able to find a near-by tank bred specimen that way i could view the parent's aswell but that's proving to be difficult aswell seems like no-one in scotland likes EBJD's ! Which is a sad thing as they are Beautiful fish ! I'e scoured gumtree Aquarist Classified's ,Vivastreet adtrader and searched online but can't seem to find any ! Hoping that my search won't be wasted and i can eventually get a gorgeous speciman of my own !
