I have 'inherited' a 60L tank with about 10-15 guppies in it. There are 2 that are very definitely heavily pregnant.

The one that looks more preggers than the other seems to be harassed by some of the males in there at the moment.

I have a 55L tank with 2 harlequins in - i could put the very pregnant one in there cos she looks like it could be any day now..would she be alright with the harlequins ? Would they eat the fry ?

Or should I get a breeding net - trap thingy and put that in the 55L tank with the preg female in it- cos at least thats cycled etc

I also have a 50L tank thats empty. I could start filling that up in the morning and get her (or both preg females) in there to have their fry.

Suggestions please ?

Thanks!

is the 50L cycled?and what if you did put her in that till she droped then catch the fry and give them there own tank and move her back but please this depends let me know if the 50L is cycled in the u.s we use the u.s system,so in my terms this is a 13 gallon tank because one gallon = 3.8 Leters your system for messurement,so what i did was i dived 50 by 3.8 and got 13 this will be big enough for your molly and her fry

No the 50L is not cycled its just put away. Unused at the moment. The only other tank thats 'running' at the moment is the one where the Harlequins are.

Could I move the 2 harlequins into the 60L tank then put the preg females into the harlequins previous tank ? Are the harlequins and guppies compatible like that ?
