Where do you get your rocks?

I get mine from mountain streams in the Lake District which is about 40 mins away from where i live. We go camping a lot there and usually come home with a few each time. At least we get them before any pollutants can get on them and have never had any probs , I also think its not actually legal but i have never seen any rock police there so fill your boots is what i say :D

I got my wood from Elterwater lake when i was on holiday in the Lake District :D

Had to carry it for 6 miles back to the car :X

I get driftwood & rocks from beaches and local rivers(all fairly pristine where I live & not illegal in my part of Oz).Apart from the boiling\sterilising routine you need to be careful of the composition of the rocks. i.e No coral or sea shells(lime),no rocks with metallic veins in them (heavy metals).Generally speaking granite and slate are good. You can also put terracotta in your tank.My clown loaches love partly buried terracotta pots as caves.

its cool! it's like one of those roofing tiles! omg its going to look so cool plus it will give my big mommy plac a place to hide

Thanks for your help! Driftwood is the same as bogwood? If so, I really could use some, but there are no places to buy. Can I find it in Arizona? Also, how long do you soak your rocks? I really want lots of bogwood, a clay looking cave, and some rocks.
