Where do you get "fancy" betta's?

Sorrell, do you get most of your bettas from Thailand? I always were amazing by the Thai bettas, but I wasn't too sure about the shipping process.

Also, you can check around town for stores specializing in exotic fish. Sometimes they have some niceee bettas. But the prices tend to be a tad higher.

I like it when they say $20.00 to ship to Europe by ems direct to the door takes anything up to three days thats fine but its is illegal to import fish into the UK without a license and if these packages are opened by customs it bye bye fish and a possible fine for doing it so not really a good thing if you get caught.

I get mines in Chinatown. The fancy ones - like halfmoons, deltas, and doubletails - are $6. The coppers and Thai plakats are $3. The Vietnamese plakats (bred for fighting) are $10.

Yes, almost all of my non-veiltail bettas are from either Thailand or Indonesia. Because I live in Wyoming, unlike Itty (jealous of Itty's supply ) I can't get anything close by, so I love aquabid.
