Where do I put my air pump?

i don't use an air pum the surface movement of the water is enough to do the job

well first of all..........u ahve to have the air pump above the tank because the power mite shut off with out u knowing and water will go down the pipe and ur air pump will explode., second of all wen i had oen i just put a sponge unbder it and it neva made a sound..................or better yet juts get a power filter.

Ducktaped Mine into place...after superglue the vibration causes noise when the pump jumps up and down off whatever its on since mine ain't jumping its dead quiet.

thats why you should use the inline check valves made for air pumps...
