Good question, I'd be interested in the current best UK one, I used to order fish by post (pre internet) but haven't for a long time. (I'm UK)

Not so easy for some of us!

I'm up in Aberystwyth and we have: A terrible Pets at Home, and a small Garden Cenre... Thats it.

Unless I take a 2 hour bus to Carmarthen, or 3 hour to Swansea...

Why not try calling a few "local" stores and see if they will arrange a delivery as opposed to ordering online. Even though its becoming more popular I personally don't trust online fish traders as you don't know what conditions they've been raised in but that's just me.

There is a company in Barry, Cardiff i have used. Direct tropicals. Didnt have any issues with them.

Another online one i seen but never used, tropicals to your door.

There's nothing wrong with online fish, form a reputable source. Kesgrave Tropicals, Rare Aquatics and Trimar all have very good reputations.
