Does anyone know where I can get some live starter cultures from in/to Canada? I am looking to get some daphnia and microworms, and possibly any other enticing goodies that may be available. I already have a small gammarus (scuds) culture started that I was given by a local fish club member/breeder, but these are slow to multiply. I've found some sites such as Carolina and Ward's; both of these being American educational suppliers/distributors. I'm a little hesitant of trying to bring any living cultures over the border since I don't know the laws in this regard. Any help is greatly appreciated!

www.bcbetta.com offrs some worms, i' not sure about daphnia though

they're like 15$ shipped or something like that.

The lady is veri kind and replies to emails very quickly

Daphnia can be found in ponds. Although you won't be able to collect enough daphnia to actually feed your fish, you can get enough for a breeding stock.

Thanks for the replies so far. I saw BC Betta carries them. Someone gave me that link in the buy/sell section, however they are sold out at the moment. They still look like my best bet, though.
