Hi, could anyone tell me where the best place is to get colourful killifishes? I've been looking around for ages and all i seem to find are Golden Panchaxes. :/

Thanks, Andy

£9 a pair seem a bit steep for Gardneri. Such a pity you asked this question in mid-winter. Springtime would be ideal for me to send you some.

Thanks for the replys and great links. Shall give them a closer look when I get home tomorrow( on a dodgy pda at the mo). Aquaticlife.co.uk looks good for amount of fish species.

The killifish I am looking for are Aphyosemion Australe and steel blues to start with.

I need to do some more research as I only know a little about killifish requirements and have only kept marine and simple tropicals in the past.

Bigc, Do you normally ship fish to england during spring/summer?

Once again, thanks guys.

Yes, or if I dont personally have a particular species I have a few like minded killi-nuts both locally and on the mainland who can help out.

Where are you? Wholesale tropicals in Bethnal green normally has 5 or 6 species

I'm from nottingham, but work all over england so i will check it out. Thanks.

Hi Andy

Have you ever thought of going to a BKA auction. There is one at Reditch twice a year which is excellent. T A Aquaculture web site will give you an insite to the events at Reditch. What was available and ideas on pricing. I may be able to get you Gold Australe from a guy I know who breeds them at a reasonable price.

Regards

Dave (Leicester)

I've seen a LFS called Coxwell Aquatics (in wolverhampton) advertised, apparently they specialise in killifish, dont know if they're any good or not tho?
