i know that newpapers , the tip ect do them but i have nt seen any
i mean shops i know that wilko do a 2 g for £ 5 who else does tanks

Have you looked on www.adtrader.co.uk or aquarist-classifieds.co.uk They usually have loads of stuff for sale. just depends if you can drop on something local.


edit: obviously these are only for people in the uk and you don't say where your from.

Just call pet stores in your area and ask them how much a tank for the size you want would cost or ask if they have any tanks on sale because I called pet stores in my area and found a 55 US gallon tank that came with the filter, heater, and hood and light for only 180 US dollars and I built the stand for it my self and saved 50 us dollars.

Well if they wanted even a 10g it would cost to much to ship it and you would be taking a big risk on it getting cracked.

Look in your local ad mag, most regions have them, and you can pick up some cheap local bargains. A man was selling a 4ft tank (230litres) in derby with 30 fish including angel fish, barbs etc. All this would have only cost £100.

In your local ad mag, nothing should be any further away than 30-60 miles.

I got all my stuff on ebay - just use the local search, or another favourite of mine "sydney pickup" Well, change the sydney to where you live

Hi I perchased my tank from a market stall a friend of mine works at for £10 size 32"x18"x12". The only thing is it cost nearly £200 setting it up would have cost less on eBay but all depends if you can collect from the seller good Luck Ivor
