Where Can I Buy Decent Tropical Tank Decorations

I have a 125L tank and trying to keep a natural look ( except from the blue gravel & the head that spongebob lives in) but everywhere i look they are all cartoons / bridges etc. I am seeking some where for my Rams to hide, I have other hiding places but my loaches have taken these over and my Albino dwarf frogs have taken the other, can someone please direct me. I have tried ebay, most pet stores searched on line etc EVEN went into Pets at Home, although in there tanks there were neat stones with holes in which would have been perfect they didnt sell them!!!

A lot of fish stores sell real rocks. Otherwise you can find your own rocks and put them in boiling water to kill any germs.

Your tank sounds interesting, spongebob, a head got any pics.

A cave is pretty easy to constuct and you can do it any shape or size you want if you find the right stones, buy some algee/moss balls tear them in a way thats makes them flaten out and tie them all around it, looks very cool.

Tetraking thats a good idea, Adamgreen has these fabulous caves and if i get moss to grow on them it would look perfect. I will take pictures soon and post, also looking for decent plants but not finding any decent ones around where I live and dont want to buy over the internet.

You might try a rock quarry or a garden pond supply store. I'm not sure what they would call that in the UK. Slate, quartz or granite make good material for building structures in aquariums.

Thanks Hawkins, I didn't wonder about spelling. Most garden ponds are sold in home improvement centers (centres) around here.

Don't buy from a LFS or a specialty store for plain rocks. Hate to say it but they're vastly overpriced almost every time. Go to a home improvement store or a garden center. Put it this way, I can pay $5 for 5 lbs of pea gravel in the LFS, or I can pay $4 for 50 lbs at Home Depot.
