Well... final update.


I am going to euthanize her once my kids are asleep. Moon Glow is bottom sitting now, something she has never done before. I think it is hopeless for certain at this point. I will complete the ich treatment for the other fish just to insure the outbreak ends.

 She held on like a trooper and you did your very best in caring for her and trying to help her. At least she is at peace now.

It was the likely outcome. Just hate it when the really nice friendly fish die. Hopefully, in the least this will be the very end of that consequences of that big ich outbreak from awhile back... all the remaining fish that were involved seem fully healthy.

Will you get another blue platy? She was such an attractive fish! I'd never seen one before. I'm wondering about getting one for my platy tank - might mix things up a bit colour-wise! lol

I have her two babies (pictured on the first page I think), Muffin and Cupcake. They are really nice, need the right lighting, though, else they look a bit grey... they are "coral blue" platies so the blue is more the sheen rather than the color... if that makes any sense. There are also metallic blue platies out there (never seen one in a shop near me though) and their blue is brighter.
