i started my first ever tank with leopard danios and a sucking loach....they are all still alive. i gave my danios away and scooby(my sucking loach) is massive now!!
If you do go for livebearers be really prepared to deal with the fry.........its madness!!

If you haven't put fish in the tank yet, consider fishless cycling.

It generally takes less time to cycle without fish (3 weeks instead of 6+). And of course, the fish don't have to go through a tough cycle. I highly recommend it.

i will leave it a week before i add any fish just to be on the safe side...

i am looking forward to having a go at breeding some fish....probably nxt year tho
