WHEN CYCLING DO I NEED...

I'm new to this also ... I can't see why a water change would be needed ... Just something to read while you wait for the tank to cycle ... a water change keeps the water chemistry stable ... you don't want things stable when cycling the tank ... you want ammonia to stay high and nitrites to peak ... no stability.

The plants I'm not sure about .... -_-

Good Day ... B)

Too much ammonia over a long period will kill you plants...be warned, it happened to me, only add enough ammonia to hit 4.00ppm and then wait!

Change water at end, a 50% is generally recommended this will help reduce the nitrates, by the end they may be quiet high!
