I love crossbreeds. I have had personally known some and they have all been amazing, loving, brilliant dogs. pedigree doesnt matter. For example: My nan had a gorden setter X who was dumped at a very early age. Becuase she wasnt pure. she gave many, many happy years to my nana and grandad, and she was the best dog I expect I will ever know for being good with children. she didnt like other dogs much, but kids could do ANYTHING with her. would this wonderful, loving family pet have been dumped if she was a purebred? I doubt it. Unfortunately she is now running in the sky with my bessy. I probably shouldnt have dogs. I get too sentimental.
Dont get me wrong, purebreds can be fantastic pets too. Im just saying, mutts have their merits! I love Rough Collies as my best purebred dog. Intelligent, agile, friendly, good family dogs but also good guard dogs, working dogs, honest, easy to train and incredibly beautiful too!!! I dont have one but I would like one, possibly a cross bred one!!! I would like to do agility/obedience with one.
heres a pic, if I can get it to work!!
