got no pics but i have a black background,it really shows off the colours of the fish and gives it a moodier atmosphere

I have an acrylic tank so it is plain blue, but there's so many plants you can only see if in a few spots! :)

My main tank has a plain blue background. The 12gal has a "tree stump" design, but I can't really see the design because the tank's heavily planted so it just looks grey to me.

Thanks alot people!

I think im gonna go with a plain/dark look. Probly a makeshift one :)

I have a mangrove root background, it looks stunning when you have a lot of bogwood in your tank

Im in the same position, I am wondering whether I need a background or not. I dont like the ones printed with loads of plants and stones, the plain ones look good. But I have decided to wait until I have all my plants in before I put a background on the back. I am hoping that when the plants grow they will do the job of the background. Anyone else done this?

I personally feel it could be quite difficult fitting a background after your tank is established  knowing how hard it was empty

Technically, i do have 1 backround, and im too cheap to buy 2 other ones, so, then , yes i do have a back round!

I think i might also swap my gravel for sand. yellow sand and dark background
