Whats Wrong With My Tank? High Acid....

Im new to fish, my tank has been going for about 2 months, we started with 5 danios and 10 ghost shrimp, everything goes ok till one of the shrimp dies for some unknown reason, then the tank goes to poo, the ph bottems out, and the water goes so foggy you cant see in more than 2in and it stinks alot, so I find dead shrimp and remove and do 6gallon waterchange (my tap water ph is 7.6 so it helps alot) and then the next day everything is back to normal. this time was different I was down to my last 3 shrimp and 2 died back to back (within 6 hours) so I did the normal and then decided to get rid of the last shrimp too, but the next day it wasnt better, it was back to the way it was (cloudy, low low ph, super stink) so i repeat and increast water change level to 9 gal, and take out the fake rocks and sterilize and also clean gravle,at this time levels look ok, and not so cloudy, but the next day its back again. what do I need to do??? its been like this for about a week

Is this that rare? too hard of a problem? or do I need to put in more info??

Did you say a fish jumped out of the tank? This can be a sign of ph incompatibility.
Also it would be helpful to know how many times you do water changes, how much water, and whether you added dechlorinator.
Also, any chemicals added to the tank? Like ph upper/downer?
Also did you cycle your tank before adding fish?
You need to do as many water changes as it takes to get your Ammonia down to .25 or below and keep doing them until it levels out at 0.
