If its in the tank below I doubt its pregnant, in my experience they dont breed well in community tanks, but that might just be me. Looks like the gourami desease I had and someone else on here is posting about.

Wilder might have some gem on medications to use, as I said in the other post, anti internal bacteria is the only one I can think of, but Wilders great with deseases / medications.

What has the fish been fed while you been away.
Bloating can be constipation, swim bladder, dropsy, to internal parasites.
Epson salt bath a teaspoon to a gallon, helps draw the fluids out.
Peas, cooked frozen peas for a few minutes let cool down, pop out of shell mush between fingers and add to the tank.
Bacterial med if you think the fish isn't constipated.
Can the fish maintain balance in water not tipping to oneside.
Make sure the scales are not beginnining to stick out.

The fish has dropsy then and hard to cure once the scales stick out as its organ failure.
I would issolate the fish if you can.
All you can do if you don't have excess to an issolation tank is epson salt baths, and a bacterial med, not sure which bacterial med to suggest as not familar with your meds in austrialia.

I think Wardley Promethyasul is a good anti bac available here....
epsom salts from any chemist.
best of luck, she's a very pretty little fish.

Thanks merry 78,.

do u reckon will be alright for one day as the only place i can get the medication from is off the internet and i will express post wich will mean it will be here tomorrow but i will still do the epsons salt baths today how many time do i put her in the salt bath a day

well i have put her in a old ice cream container which is 4 litres with a airstone and a light that is just giving the water enough heat to make it at about 24 degress celcius i have epsoms salts so nowi just need to know do i put the epsom salt in the container she is in and just leave her for an hour os so or do i put the salt in a small conatiner and then quickly dip her in to it also how many times a day should i do that for?

You start the bath off for the first time 10 to 15 minutes, once the fish handles it you gradually build it up to half and hour.

With bacterial infections you have to get going fast with meds, as by the time you notice they are ill its usually to late.
Good luck.

Bless her.
She still has a long way to go so good luck, and fingers crossed.
Give her some shelled peas.
