What's Wrong With My Cories?

Ok, then there's nothing wrong with it, it's just the colouration, did you look at the link I posted of the other one for comparison?

Columnaris is a bacterial infection, and would require an antibiotic.

I agree though, that your fish appears to be fine.  Watch for 'increased gasping' etc.   And try to expedite the cycle...

The op posted a link to a pic of their fish #9
Ally dawn, the link you posted on #9 of the melini, is that your own fish?

I stand corrected, apologies if any offence given.

I of course was referring to post number 5.

My mistake.

Yes I did and it does look very similar, so I guess I will leave it alone. My only concern is that this is new, I have never seen it before on my fish. Is that a concern?

The fact that its a new development could be cause for concern.

How long have you had it?  Many times fish will be more 'washed out' looking when stressed, or in the LFS, and then their 'true colors' will show up as they become more comfortable in their surroundings.

You've probably just not noticed it before as in some light you'll hardly see it.
As long as the fish is behaving normally then it's best left alone.
To put your mind further at rest google corydoras melini & look at the images most if them show the same colouration

Okay, thank you. And yes the new tank they are in is lit and the other wasn't, so that's probably what it is. Thank you all so much :)
