What's Wrong With Her?

I have this young female guppy, almost full grown.  She's very active and healthy and a week ago had her first fry.  (The fry are healthy and nothing is wrong with them.)  She had a straight back before she gave birth and right after I noticed she looked a bit "hunched over".  Her back looks crooked and bowed now.  This has never happened, or at least not to young guppies like this.  Did she have a hard labor?  I'd like to keep her for selective breeding purposes, but will that cause a problem?  What should I do?

I haven't done anything big with the water or anything, just regular water changes.  I have soft water and my tanks are very clean and have tested very good.

Here's a pic of her a few weeks ago.      http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a542/Passamaquatty/image_zps282dccea.jpg

I'd guess(simply because it's happened to me before) that she had a slightly more difficult labour and the strain on her young spine has caused a bend :/

I had a female that gave birth quite young compared to her sisters because I thought she was male when younger(her fin started to thin out like a gonopodium but later fanned out) and she got caught by her brothers/dad. Her spine bent after the birth and I can only guess(because none of her sisters had it and they were bred at a much later stage in life) that it was because her younger more fragile spine was stressed by the labour.

So do you think she'll be ok for selective breeding?  Right now she's away from the male and I don't know if she's pregnant.  For my breeding plan I just need one male and one female from her in a few months.  Should I consider using another female?

If she wasn't born with the deformity then it's okay. That won't be passed on to the young

As Tongue_Flicker says, as long as she developed it rather than being born with it she should be OK but keep an eye on her in case the bent spine causes her troubles during labour. I would refrain from breeding younger females in case it happens again though :)

Mine was my fault, I should have kept a closer eye on her and got her out before she got pregnant but her anal fin started thinning out and elongating so I thought she was male and then to little to late her fan fanned out again and she was already pregnant.
