Definitely a Bristlenose: thats prolly what your shop calls em and often shops dont follow naming convention. They are cuties.

You can get orange spot BN (which I believe are just another colour variation of normal BN but 3x the price) so maybe this is what he means. But to me that looks just like a normal BN maybe they get their orange colour later like Miles said.

I know everyone is saying that it looks like a bristle nose, maybe its just me but I dont think it is. It looks almost identical to my Golden nugget/spotted plec L001.

The head looks to bulbus to be a bristle nose.

An L001 isn't a Gold Nugget. It is however often called a Gold Spot. Difference being the L001 grows to a really big size (being in the same family as the gibby), and is very common and generally much cheaper than "Gold Nuggets".

The plec in this thread isn't a Gold Nugget, or an L001 as far as I can tell. The L001 doesn't have the white edging to the fin and tail, something that is extremely common in Ancistrus sp. 3 (the common bristlenose). A Gold Nugget has brighter and more defined markings, and the body shape of the plec in the pic looks like Lisa's bristlenose too.
