So cute little guy! I missed a thread or something; I don't get the Eo.
Thank you! My little guy is named Epsilon Naught (or Epsilon, Epsie, Epper for short). ε is the Greek lowercase letter "epsilon", and the little subscripted o is the physics denotation for "default" or "initial," and is pronounced "sub zero" or "naught" for short. Epsilon is used to denote electric permittivity, and thus (
εo) is the permittivity of free space. I had a long description here of what that was, but in previewing my post, I realized most of you won't care beyond what's here. I guess all you really need to know is that I am a nerd.
. I made a reference to Gauss somewhere, and that's because he made Epsilon naught famous by way of Guass's Law, which relates electric field to the source charge.
Tell Synirr to let us know if he eats you. You know Betta can smell fear.
It's bound to happen soon. I placed him right next to my bed, I think I overheard him plotting to break through the glass and swallow me whole...
Also,
εo is totally vain. I was talking to my brother telling him about flaring, and when he asked what that was, I reached for my camera and turned it on to show him the picture I took... and of course
εo
jets out from the leaves, starts fidgeting following the camera around. I didn't believe it, so I waited a few minutes for him to calm down and pulled the camera out again, and sure enough, off he goes.
Of course, this led to some very good pictures, which I will put up as soon as my brother downloads them off the digicam.
God I love this guy! He's resting in his leaves now, it's so cute.
