Whats This Its Constantly There!?

Ok ive just got seachem matrix and put that in my canister filter to knock out the nitrates. And going to buy a 2nd seio m620 so ill have 20x water movment.

Whats annoying is i cant syphon it up as its so heavy!to the thing lool

are you using a wide or a thin mouth siphon? I found the same problem when trying to use my wide mouth freswater vaccum. So I pulled the 1/4" hose off the end of it, and used that. With the smaller diameter it sucks up the cyano. YOu pretty much have to stick your whole hand in there and be delicate with it so that you dont suck up your whole sand bed, but it works well
