Whats the verdict on these Tetras

Just a simple Q as I can't Tell Are these Tetras a Dyed sought or a real species

I think its solved then, they are a real type. They're really cure I've never seen any in england before though

I've never seen them before, nor heard them mentioned. They look like a nice easy fish, too. Very pretty. Did you see them at your lfs?

I agree, I really like those too and have never seen one before. To have a group mixed in with my other various neons would look very pretty

Weird, just yesterday I saw them for the first time at my lfs. They had just gotten them in. Maybe some day I'll try them.

Just to clear things up guys its not my fish (I really wish it was) That pic was taken form some random site. I was searching and came across them, they kinda remind me of blueberry muffins

man I gotta set up a tetra tank now with these "blue" tetras add in some neons ,cardinals and some glow lights and you got one pretty tank.
One question has anyone seen the "Diamond" tetra? they look like a lighter color neon. Are they natural? If so I may could throw some of those in there

rollntider : diamond tetras are a naturally occuring species native to venezuela.
they don't look much when young, but when they mature their scales have an irridescent sheen which is really amazing.
