What's The Strangest Thing..

a beer stine when my glass bowl got a crack in it and needed an emergency bowl :p

My mom's coffee mug. She still uses it. I haven't told her yet. :shifty:

Hmm . . . I think that it has to be the sink. I was doing water changes and his 'holding cup' got knocked over. The sink was still draining out the last of his dirty water so I just plugged it up and popped him in while I filled another cup :p

Once in a pinch I needed a hospital tank. I used my crock pot(just the pot part, it comes out of the part that heats up). At the same time I needed another hospital tank so I used a water container. The ones you buy at the grocery store that are refillable. It held 3G of water. I thought about using one as a permanent home. It is the perfect set up. Open the lid to feed and remove the betta for water changes(or like in my case, I cut the top open), and to change the water all you have to do is open the spigot at the bottom.

I once had a betta in a cat shaped fish bowl thats around 1.5g I mean it really is in the shape of a cat that is sitting straight up. :S

So what is the strangest thing you've put your betta in? For me it's probably a muffin pan or.. a lunch box. :p
What does a muffin pan look like? I've never heard of it. Why would you need to put a betta in a muffin pan or a lunch box?

In my pants... :shifty: lol, jk!
Seriously, the oddest thing I've put my betta in is probably a kids cup you would get at a restruant.

That's a muffin pan. I had to put my bettas in it because I had to change their tanks and had no where else to put them. As for the lunch box, they were put in there while moving, so the temp would stay the same.

You know, a lunch box would be the last place I'd put a betta why? Here's a little skit:

(Skit includes brother, sister and mom)
Brother: Oh, time to do water chnages, better put Mr. Betta here in a lunchbox
Sister: Oh were's my lunch box, it's almost time for school
-Sister walks into brothers room, sees the lunch box then takes it-
Sister: I found my lunchbox mom!
Mom: Oky hunny, bye!
-Sister goes to school-
Sister: mom packed a heavy lunch, I wonder what it is...
-sister opens up lunch box, and the betta pops out-
Sister: Eek!

In conclusion, putting your betta in a lunch box puts them in danger and causes your sister not being able to eat lunch.

My mom's coffee mug. She still uses it. I haven't told her yet. :shifty:

 That's mean.
...I regularly put my bettas in drinking glasses as holding containers when I'm cleaning their tanks, and use coffee mugs to thaw frozen foods in :look:
I don't use the mugs, but I do drink out of those glasses... I figure, hey, they go through the dish washer afterwards, they're clean.

The weirdest thing, I guess, was when I was on my way home with a fish from Walmart with a friend in the car, and he thought he could cram the plastic cup the fish came in into my cupholder... no. It broke, and the fish rode in my cupholder until we could get to my friend's house (it was a lot closer than mine) to find a cup to put the poor fish in until I could get it home

Hmm, probably an empty fish food container. I was doing a major tank switch, and was waiting for my dad to bring me more plastic containers, so I needed somewhere to put her while I changed everyones water.... She jumped :X Luckilly I found her, she's a tough potato.
