What's The Most You've Paid For A Betta?

I was recently perusing aquabid, and some of these bettas are gorgeous. I gotta tell you, I never really was a fan of them, but some of them are just stunning. But I am astonished at some of the prices! So I'm curious, what's the most you have paid for a betta?

The most I paid was $40 + $28 for shipping, unfortunatly I learned not long after that he wasn't worth what I paid for him , but it was when I was first getting into tail types other then veiltails.

Jaded - I love those colors! Gorgeous! But that is a lot of money lol

Tropical - It doesn't necessarily have to mean money spent on aquabid. Just on bettas in general.

I haven't bought any off aquabid but I think the most i have ever paid was $8.00 but I am just waiting for Big Als to get in soem more halfmoons (they usually cost $15-$20).

I think the most I paid for a betta was $20 (not including shipping). I actually have quite a bit of money wrapped up in my bettas right now. But I work hard, take care of my family and don't pamper or spoil myself in any other way except with my fish...so I guess it's ok
