Whats The Minium Amount Of Gallons For Two Angels?

30 gallon for a pair i think, they can live with any but the smallest tetras (ie not with neons, glow lights, cardinals)

It depends if the two angels are paired or not. If they're paired then a 20-30gal TALL tank would be fine.

But if they aren't paired then I wouldn't suggest putting them in anything short of a 3ft long and tall tank. You're looking at 40gal+ for a tank with those kind of dimensions.

Also their success with small bodied fish varies. Often they are fine with fully grown cardinals. And some people have success with the smaller tetras (though only when they're reared together). So it's a gamble, and I personally would stick to large bodied tetras as opposed to the streamlined shape.

^ LOL so in other words, every bit of advice i gave you disagree with, to cut a long story short.

It wasn't a personal attack. And I didn't fully disagree, I both agreed and disagreed aswell as elaborating on why.

Also, what is the problem with me disagreeing? I have seen a hell of alot of angels and how they're kept. What conditions they're suited to and what sort of tank mates they're kept with successfully and unsuccessfully.

You just came across elitist, in the way you used capitals in words, like when people emphasize on words when they are being patronizing/sarcastic...in other words just thinking that their knowledge is generally better than yours.

Of course totally ignoring the fact that i wrote 'i think', which meant I was not entirely sure anyway.

To add to your opinion with one of my own, it is best not to take risks in fish keeping....so much fairer not to mix small Tetras with Angels..if there is a chance they will be killed and eaten.

My personal recommendation would be..

3ftx2ftx1ft tank (2ft tall) if possible...but anything bigger would be great..

then stock it with something like...

2 x common angels, of the colours of your choice.
8 x white tip tetras(these can be expensive, but very hardy and absolutely stunning)
1 x Bristlenose Plec
6 x Corydoras (colour/species of your choice...keeping in mind, some are not as hardy as others and have tough water requirments)

Don't get Rams with Angels unless you add another foot on to the tank, and keep in mind how hard GBR's can be to please/keep....the only time i ever kept these successfully was in a tank with Discus, Cardinals, Panda Corys at a PH of 6 and tmpature of 30c

As I said, it wasn't personal so please don't take it that way. The capitals were for emphasis only as it's important that people know that angels require the extra height as it's not obvious from just looking at them. I'm certainly not 'elitist' whatever that phrase even means.

if you all want to know :p

i want to get a rio 180. witch is estimated 48 gallon?

Dunno something like that.

i want two Angel's.

and i dont know what to do with the rest of the space...

well for that size tank buy 6 angelfish. then you can sell 4 later once 2 of them pair off

If i can presuade my dad to take Matt_lee's Angel off he's hand's I'll get another black angel fish ( There LOVELY ) And if they pair off. that'll be great. because then matt_lee's Angel fish will have a friend :)

And then i'll add some platy's and possibly corys ( i want sand but apparntly its kind of .. messy )

any other stocking suggestions?

the only capitals she used, aside from the beginning of a sentence, was "TALL" lol. clearly so the OP saw, not to put you down.
