dont ever buy walmart fish. i got baby balas from there and i still have one after over a year... the other died a couple of days ago... and i got my pleco from there, hes so cute and fat.

most expensive anyone else ever got me, 12 kribensis male. the female was only 4.

My most expensive fish is my African butterfly fish. I paid $10 for it. I just bought it two days ago actually.

Most i have speant in one go was £300 for a sexed pair of Hemibagrus punctatus but i have also speant £150 on a single male motoro stingray (now sadly deceased )

I don't exactly have a dearest fish (all of mine are dear to my heart ), but I have spent some money over time on a few. I have spent $10 on each of my golden severums when they were young (about 1" long). Other than that I haven't had a chance to spend a lot of money on fish !!!

Heh, well my "dearest" fish was actually quite inexpensive...in fact I think the max I've spent on a fish so far has been $8.

That being said, I do plan on purchasing some pricey fish in the future....unfortunately for me I tend to like fish that are quite expensive + have to be shipped.

I shud of named the thread bargain hunters as most people replying have been things like $10.

Its shocked me really, i expected things like £500 for 2 arowana, £300 for a stingray!
