Whats the best way to feed fish I think i am over feeding mine do i shut of the air bubbles and the filter so the food will stay at top longer thanks

What sort of filter, fish have you got? What size tank? , does the filter suck the food in off the top of the water? or does it drop down and cover the substrate? What are you feeding them?

ItS a 30 gallon and the filter is a hang on power filter. I have mollies platies and guppys. And i feed them tetra tropical flakes. But they go to the bottom right after i put them in THANKS
