The only natural look I've successfully pulled off, the plants in the back are fake, but that's considered natural in a mbuna tank. I like natural, it just doesn't like me.

All of my tanks are very natural looking, but my S.O. has a 40G with a shipwreck a giant bubbling fish and live plants and some driftwood and its actually very nice looking. I like it all as long as the substrate is neutral

meh i like a bit of both... only got a old pic but my tank now has 2 java ferns, and a bark tunnel as well still has the bright blue gravel though haha
