Those tubiflex worms look yucky! It looks like there are a million in there --> do you remove the feeder after a certain amount of time or do you have enough bettas that they eat them all? How do you keep them?

How do you keep them?I usually put an amount in there and leave it in each betta tank for about 5 minutes, monitoring them carefully. Its fun to watch them attack the worms. Sometimes they pull so much out of the cone that they swim around with worms dangling out their mouths.cynqueen said:EEWWWWThose tubiflex worms look yucky! Whatever is left I usually put in my 20g for the livebearers to finish off. I keep them in a covered dish in the fridge and rinse them everyday with cold water.

They only get that once in a blue moon and cherish it
They only get that once in a blue moon and cherish it Bio-gold, bloodworms (I'd love to try some live foods sometime) and they adore cucumber

Bo gets frozen brine shrimp because he refuses to eat pellets (even after starving himself for 3 weeks). And I just got a new boy!! He'll probably get a mix of both. I also feed them all snacks of bloodworms and peas occasionally.
