What Would You Do?

Choices choices!

In my heavelly planted 20 US gal, I have 8 bloodfin tetras, three platies and a dwarf gourami. I would like to add a few more fish. The question is, should I look for a new small shoal of fish, or would it be better to add to one of the two communities that are currently in the tank?

I'd get two more platies. But that's just me. You're pretty well-stocked there, but if you do frequent water changes, another fish or two would be all right. I wouldn't go for a whole shoal, though.

What about adding some bottom dwellers? i love my loaches they are quite funny but be sure you don't get the ones that get too larg like clown loaches!
