What Would You Do?

After we got a little of Rita's wrath and our lights were out for 2-3 days (out in other parts of the town for a week or more,) my dad went nuts and bought us a generator that can run everything in the house, air conditioning/heating and all. We bought it through the company my parents own so it's not so bad, but I still don't understand why we'd need a several thousand dollar generator when our lights have never been out for more than 3 days and we rarely lose power for more than a few hours.... but anyway, that's all I'd have to do. Wait for the generator to crank itself. It'll never happen though, since I live in east Texas and we only see an inch of snow about once every 4 years.

Who brought up Kerosene Heaters? To my knowledge Toyotomi no longer exports kerosene heaters to the USA.
...I swear to God I saw a post that mentioned them before I wrote my reply, but it's gone now. I guess the poster deleted it.

Ooh, that'd be a problem. I would do some as the others said. If you have a betta in a big vase, i'd put it in front of the heater temporarily until you get the power back of course.
