What Would You Do With This Tank?

I have had that plant before, and it makes a stunning main plant.

But for the life of me I can't remember the name of it, and when I do, and can find it again my swords will be coming out. pronto.

Shame you're not keen on oddballs, If it was my tank then, I would go down the cichlid route.

Do you want a 'community' or just 1 or two fish?
Either way if it was my tank I would probably put a pair of sajica in there. Been interested in them lately, but can't find any near me.

Just playing around with ideas as of now so, of course, nothing is definate.

Meh.

I would go smaller.

10 Glowlight danios
10 Galaxy Rasbora if you can get them
10 Lampeye killies
10 Ottocinclus
10-20 Pygmy corys
20 Cherry shrimp/bee/bumblebee etc
Some fancy coloured apple snails

I know im biasd cos thats very similar to my stocklist for my 3 footer but honestly its a facinating tank.

I do like the sound of shrimp, they sound like they could be a fun little adventure. I'm also quite keen on a BN and corys...am I over-crowding the bottom of the tank?

As angels aren't a good idea, can anyone suggest a nice centre peice fish? Gouramis initially popped into my head but I'm not so keen.

Dwarf Cichlid of some sort. German Blue Ram, Boilivian Ram, Apistos, Laetacara curviceps, to name a few.

Bolivians sound quite good, i've done a teeny bit of research so what do we think of the new list:

2 Bolivian Rams (2f)
1 Bn Plec
3 Corys
6 Zebra Danios
A number of Shrimp

The rest of the guys I have done a few weeks worth of research on and am pretty keen on them, going for a pretty traditional set by the looks of it.

I really appreciate all your help, this stock list has been twisting and changing non-stop the more I think about it!

Sounds fine but if you have rams or guramies then I would only go with larger shimp such as amanos.
