What Would You Do With This Tank?

Hello everyone, I've been reading the forum for a while and have decided to take the plunge and make a topic.

I have kept fish on and off for about a decade and have just got back into the hobby and have been blitzed by choice! I bought a nice sized tank to have a play in and it is currently cycling but I am not sure what to stick in there.
THE TANK
3 foot x 1 foot x 1.5 foot high
129 litres
Marsh Root
Sand and gravel substrate
Fluval 204 filter
Some plants (ID would be nice )

As for stocking, I have an idea but I'd love to hear what other people would do with it so I could adopt some of those ideas. I would prefer to steer clear of oddballs in an ideal world hehe

Rams, german or bolivian, two would be nice, a large shoal of dwarf rainbows and lots of little corys all running around the bottom would be lovely

HC lots of HC. and loads of shrimps and a massive shoal of small tetras. and some chocolate gouramis.oh the list goes on

are you sure thats 3ft long?

as for the stocking... a do know a load of the same plecos would love that peice of wood! what i had in mind was about 4 L134's. a nice shoal of about 6 corys would love the mixed substrate too!

im not too sure about the centre peice fish though... maybe a pair of angels? or maybe a few apistos? something that would appreciate the open space

Cover the sand area in riccia, java moss growing on the wood. Then have a pair of German Blue rams, 4 - 8 oto's, and lots and lots of shrimp.

I second that.
Possibly some floating plant like salvinia.

Yep, definately 3 foot., the monster peice of wood makes it look small though haha

I have an idea of what to pop in there, but a few more suggestions certainly wouldn't go amiss...

Im not too sure those plants are actually aquatic. I would take them out as soon as possible, they will rot and dirty your water.

Are you sure, i haven't seen swords with round leaves like that before.

I have done a bit of online research and the neaest thing I can find to it is echinodorus cordifolius, so if i is that, it's going to be massive...

no idea.

Are you sure, i haven't seen swords with round leaves like that before.

Most likely still in it's emersed form. TBH it is hard to make a 100% confident ID with the given photo.
Keep them in there and observe what happens.
