What Would you do with a big tank??

Yeah I agree. When I read that he was getting a huge tank, I was thinking a 5000g reef tank, maybe with some black tip reef sharks, a giant grouper andsome morey eels.

anyway, I think that if you were to get a biggish tank, you should put some id sharks in it.

Yup....neons are the go!

but remember....only introduce them in a well cycled & established tank!, My first round of neons had a mortality rate of 50%!

but my second batch...2 months later....7 of 10 survived! the 3 that died was due to them being so small that they got sucked up my filter

I'd like to have a 20 ~ 50 gallon with only neons one day.

Shame. anyway, I was thinking about putting in some Kribs, there are some nice looking blue ones in the lfs.
That is if they will go into a 50 gallon

I see no reason why you can't keep some kribs in a tank of that size. Here's a nice little link to some info about them

If its only a 50g tanks then i wouldnt go for American Cichlids, the tanks to small, but a african setup would be fine.
